Where are the pick-up locations for each of the tours?

The Get Acquainted West Side Tour begins on the Northwest Corner of 45th and Broadway in Times Square (in front of The Sunglass Hut). Please look for your guide in a bright orange vest. And please be there by 9:40 AM; our tour bus leaves promptly at 10:00 AM.

The Brooklyn Grand Tour begins in front of the Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center subway stop at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. More specific details on the address will be provided in your email booking confirmation. Please look for your guide in a bright orange vest. And please be there by 9:40 AM; our tour bus leaves promptly at 10:00 AM.

The Get Acquainted East Side Tour begins at the South Street Seaport Museum at 12 Fulton Street at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. Please look for your guide in a bright orange vest. And please be there by 9:40 AM.

Itinerary

Will we have a chance to stop for lunch?

Yes. On our Get Acquainted West Side Tour, we stop at the international food court at Grand Central Terminal.

On our Brooklyn Grand Tour, we’ll stop at The Fairway Market in Red Hook.

And on our Get Acquainted East Side Tour, we’ll stop at St. Marks Place for your choice of one of many eateries in the neighborhood.

What is the difference between tour sights and tour stops?

A tour site is what we see from the bus; a tour stop is a physical stop and exploration of a site. For instance, a tour stop is Central Park or Grand Central Terminal, where we get off the bus to walk through the site.

How long do the tours last?

Each of our tours lasts 5 hours (10am-3pm).

Scheduling

What days are tours running?

All three of our tours are running Wednesdays through Saturdays, every week.

But please call or email us in advance to ensure your preferred date is available.

How early should I book in advance?

As early as possible to ensure you are able to book your desired tour date.

What time of the day do tours depart?

Promptly at 10:00 AM, but plan to arrive at the tour’s meeting point around 9:40 AM.

Are you available to give private group tours?

Transportation

Is the vehicle climate controlled?

Yes. Whatever the weather, you’ll be comfortable inside the vehicle.

What is the mode of transportation? A van? A bus?

Depending upon the size of your tour, we’ll either be in a van for smaller groups, or coach buses for larger groups.

Can I bring a car seat for my small child?

No, unfortunately there are no seatbelts on the bus. But please call us to figure out an alternative.

Will vehicles be equipped with headphones for
language translations?

No. Tours are generally in English, but if you would prefer a tour in a different language, NYSee Tours will provide you with a guide who speaks that language.

Ticketing

Do senior citizens or children receive any discounts?

Yes. We offer two ticket prices: $100 for Adults, and $90 for Children and Seniors.

Do you offer any special discounts for groups?

Yes, but you should contact us to determine if this is a possibility for your tour.

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?

Tickets are exchangeable provided there is availability, but they are not refundable.

Does the cost of a ticket include a tip for the guide and driver?

No, tips are not included in the ticket price. Our guides and drivers greatly appreciate it!

Do I need to print or bring physical tickets on tour date?

Yes, please bring your physical tickets or vouchers to the pickup points and present them to us before you board.
